The merger of the Billerica Chamber of Commerce and the Billerica Plan was completed in late fall of 2007 and is now formally known as the Billerica Community Alliance.

In the early 2000's the Chamber and the Plan had joined forces with representatives from all levels of government, local schools and colleges, and local businesses and organizations to form the Billerica Business Assistance Task Force (BATF).
